LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Washington women's basketball senior Nancy Mulkey has been named to the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces training camp roster.

Saturday, the Aces announced their 17-person training camp roster after finalizing the signing of Mulkey, a rookie free agent.

"We are excited to bring Nancy Mulkey in for training camp," said Aces General Manager Natalie Williams. "She gives us more depth and versatility at the post spot, is a high IQ player who shoots well, and is great in the pick and roll action."

The center from Cypress, Tex. was No. 1 in the Pac-12 in blocked shots per game (3.0) during the 2021-22 season at Washington, adding 69 blocks on the season to her career total of 397, which ranked No. 2 nationally.

With a 54.5% field goal average putting her at No. 2 in the conference, Mulkey showed herself to be a force on both ends of the court. She averaged 50.0% from three and averaged 10.6 points per game. Mulkey was also a leader in the conference in rebounding, with 6.0 rebounds per game.

Her career single game highs are impressive, with 29 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 11 blocks.

Throughout her collegiate career, Mulkey has earned many accolades. At Rice, she was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Year three times, was a semifinalist for the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award, a semifinalist for Naismith Defensive Player of the Year, won a WNIT Championship, and received WNIT MVP honors.

At Washington, she was named to the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Watch List for the third consecutive year. She was also named to the Naismith Player of the Year Watch List and the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Watch List. Mulkey received multiple postseason honors from the conference. She was named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and All-Defensive Team Honorable Mention by conference coaches, and in a Pac-12 media vote, was one of only five players named to the All-Defensive Team.

Mulkey will join former Husky, 2017 No. 1 WNBA Draft pick, and returning Aces star Kelsey Plum at Las Vegas' training camp.
