No. 3 UCLA Falls at No. 1 USC, 3-2

LOS ANGELES -- No. 3 UCLA (28-5) dropped its 2022 regular season finale at No. 1 USC (28-1), 3-2, on Friday afternoon at USC's Merle Norman Stadium. UCLA and fell to 18-14 all-time against USC.

Audrey and Nicole Nourse put the Trojans up 1-0 with a straight-set win on court four over Natalie Myszkowski and Sophie Moore, 21-17, 21-14.

Sammy Slater and Megan Kraft put USC up 2-0 with a 22-20, 21-9, win on court two over Devon Newberry and Jaden Whitmarsh.

Tina Graudina and Hailey Harward defeated Denaburg and Van Winkle, 21-17, 21-10, to clinch the dual win on court one.

Lea Monkhouse and Jessie Smith pulled off a huge upset of Julia Scoles and Delaynie Maple with a three-set thriller, 21-18, 13-21, 22-20, win on court three to put the Bruins on the board. The Trojan pair was 28-0 on the year entering today's dual.

UCLA's duo of Marlie Monserez and Rileigh Powers remained undefeated and improved to 9-0 on the year, posting a 21-14, 12-21, 15-10, win over Mollie Ebertin and Sunny Villapando on court five.

The Bruins return to action on Wednesday, Apr. 27 when they travel to Tucson, Ariz., to begin the defense of their Pac-12 Championship title from a year ago.
