The Game
Oregon State continues its three-game series with Washington Saturday afternoon at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. First pitch is slated for 1:35 p.m. PT.

Last Game
Garret Forrester hit a 10th-inning single to send the Beavers to a 4-3 win over Washington Friday night at Goss Stadium. Travis Bazzana tripled with one out, leading to the Huskies intentionally walking Jacob Melton and Justin Boyd, setting up Forrester's game winner. Wade Meckler hit an eighth-inning home run to send the game to extras. OSU was led on the mound by Cooper Hjerpe, who struck out 12. The OSU staff struck out 18 on the night, which included five in 2 2/3 innings by reliever DJ Carpenter.

Against Washington
• Oregon State is welcoming Washington to Corvallis for the first time since 2018. The Beavers and Huskies did not play in 2020 due to Covid-19.
• OSU is 248-194-2 all-time in the series and 141-74 in games played in Corvallis.
• The Beavers have now won eight straight games over the Huskies. OSU is going for its eighth consecutive series victory over UW.

• The Beavers' WHIP in the month is a paltry 1.03 (99 hits plus 26 walks).
• Justin Boyd has 12 runs batted in over his last four games. He has 37 on the year, which ranks fifth and is just one shy of tying for third.
• Ryan Brown has made a team-leading 17 appearances this season. Has has retired the first batter he has faced in 16 of those outings.
