PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Allie Skaggs, So., INF, Arizona (Louisville, Ky.)

  • Hit .500 (7-for-14) to help lead the Wildcats to a doubleheader sweep of UTEP and a series win at Utah.
  • Five of her seven hits were home runs, drove in 10 runs, scored eight and slugged 1.571.
  • Had three home runs in the second game against UTEP on Tuesday, April 19 and a two home-run game in the series finale at Utah.
  • Tied the program record for home runs in a single game with three in a 10-2 victory over the Miners.
  • On Sunday in Salt Lake City, hit a grand slam and a solo home run in back-to-back at-bats to help Arizona clinch the series.
  • Had a career-best five RBI in Arizona's 6-5 win over Utah on Sunday.
  • Leads Arizona in home runs (16), which is tied for second in the conference.

  • Notched her 100th career win in the first game against then-No. 19 Oregon and recorded her 1,000th career strikeout in the seventh inning of game three.
  • Is the second Husky in program history to record 1,000 career strikeouts.
  • Is the third active player in NCAA Division I softball to have 1,000 career strikeouts.
  • Went 3-0 on the weekend, posting a 0.00 ERA in 14.1 innings pitched to go along with two complete-game shutouts.
  • Has recorded a win in her last five appearances dating back to the start of the Oregon State series.

  • Helped the Bruins extended their winning streak to four games as UCLA currently sits in a tie atop the conference standings. 
  • Is currently in a three-way tie for the most doubles in the league this season (13). 
  • Third Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor this season (March 1, March 8).
