Weekend Wrap | Oregon Relays

Apr 25, 2022

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field team racked up eight top-20 nationally ranked times and measures this past weekend during the Oregon Relays at Hayward Field. Among the group, the Ducks posted top-five NCAA marks in the men's 1500 meters (Reed Brown), women's steeplechase (Aneta Konieczek), men's 4x100-meter relay and javelin (Ty Hampton).

The Men of Oregon are up to a season-high No. 5 in Monday's release of the USTFCCCA rating index, up eight spots from a week ago. The Women of Oregon check in at No. 9, continuing a five-week run inside the top 10 to start the outdoor season.

Three weeks ahead of hosting the Pac-12 Championships (May 13-15), the Ducks have collected 13 conference-leading marks through the first five weekends of the season. Oregon continues to carry NCAA-leading efforts by Micah Williams (100 meters) and Emmanuel Ihemeje (triple jump).

The Ducks will split for two meets this coming weekend, the OSU High Performance in Corvallis and the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Ariz. The team is back at Hayward Field on May 6 for the Oregon Twilight, the regular-season home finale.

Single-meet and season tickets for the Oregon home schedule, plus all-session and single-day tickets for the Pac-12 and NCAA Championships, are currently on sale. Click HERE or call 800-WEBFOOT (932-3668) to purchase.
