Beavers Headed to New York to Face Cornell, Georgetown and Penn

CORVALLIS – The No. 18 Oregon State men's rowing team will head to the east coast this weekend to face three highly ranked foes. The Beavers will face No. 11 Cornell on Friday, before racing against No. 19 Georgetown and No. 15 Penn on Saturday.
The Beavers will travel their Varsity 8, 2V8 and 3V8 this week. Racing begins at 12:50 p.m. PT on Friday, with all three boats facing their Cornell counterparts. Action will begin early in the morning Pacific Time on Saturday, as Oregon State races against Georgetown and Penn.
The OSU Varsity 8 for the weekend will be comprised of: Ethan deBorja (coxswain), Andrew Balsbaugh, Cal Labonski, Brian Tames, Colin Lindquist, Tristan Gavin, Ryan Ghalayini, Nils Patrick and Ryan Coulter.
This weekend will mark the final races for Oregon State before the Beavers host Pac-12 Championships at Dexter Lake on May 15.
