UCLA in Fifth After Three Rounds at Pac-12s

SAMMAMISH, Wash. – The UCLA men's golf team shot a 13-over 368 in the third round to drop to fifth place at the Pac-12 Championships at Aldarra Golf Club on Tuesday.
 
Freshman Pablo Ereño Perez dropped to T-14th at +2 on the tournament following his 7-over 78 in round three today.
 
No. 8 Washington is in first place (-5, 1060) and holds a seven-stroke lead over No. 4 Arizona State.
 
Graduate Eddy Lai shot his third consecutive 1-over 72 score of the tournament with four birdies in his third round. Lai is tied for 19th at 3-over 216 on the tournament.
 
Freshman Omar Morales recorded a 2-over 73 with three birdies today to drop six spots to T-22nd and 4-over to par.
 
Redshirt sophomore Alvaro Muller shot a 3-over 74 with four birdies to improve to T-39th. Muller is 8-over on the tournament. Freshman Evan Chien was 6-over 77 on the day with one birdie on the par-4 17th.
 
Junior Mason Greene tied Lai for UCLA's best score of the day with a 1-over 72 featuring an eagle on the par-5 12th.

Greene tees off first for UCLA in round three tomorrow beginning at 10:00 a.m. PT. Greene will be followed by Muller (10:12 a.m.), Chien (10:24 a.m.), Morales (10:36 a.m.), Lai (10:48 a.m.) and Ereño Perez (11:00 a.m.).
