2022 CAL FOOTBALL SEASON
Cal enters the 2022 campaign after a strong finish a year ago when the Golden Bears were 4-2 in the second half of the campaign including a 41-11 blowout victory at Stanford in the Big Game and the first home win over USC since 2003. The victory over Stanford was the second in a row for Bears at Stanford Stadium, while Cal also defeated USC in Los Angeles in 2018.

Cal's 2022 football schedule will feature seven home games, highlighted by the 125th Big Game against Stanford on Nov. 19, plus a trip to Notre Dame to face the Fighting Irish for the first time in 55 years on Sept. 17.
Cal will play three of its first four games at home and opens the season by hosting UC Davis (Sept. 3) and UNLV (Sept. 10) in non-conference contests before welcoming Arizona for the Bears' Pac-12 opener Sept. 24.

After nearly a month on the road as well as an Oct. 8 bye, Cal returns to FTX Field at California Memorial Stadium to play four of its final six regular-season games at home against Washington (Oct. 22), Oregon (Oct. 29), Stanford (Nov. 19) and UCLA (Nov. 25) for the team's annual Joe Roth Game and Senior Day.

In addition to the Notre Dame trip, Cal will travel to Pac-12 opponents Washington State (Oct. 1), Colorado (Oct. 15), USC (Nov. 5) and Oregon State (Nov. 12).

All games are on Saturdays other than the home contest against UCLA the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Pac-12 Championship Game televised by FOX at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Friday, Dec. 2.
