PULLMAN, Wash.— The Washington State men's and women's track and field teams will be back on the road in California for two meets this weekend, as the Cougars will participate in the Payton Jordan Invitational and the Fresno State Invitational.
WSU is entering the final stretch run of the regular season, as the Cougars have three meets remaining before the 2022 Pac-12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Seven WSU student-athletes currently hold a top-5 mark in their respective event in the Pac-12, while a total of three WSU student-athletes hold a top-3 event mark in the conference. Payton Jordan Invitational
A select group of WSU distance track runners will compete in the Payton Jordan Invitational Friday, April 29, in Stanford, California. The first WSU event at the Payton Jordan Invitational will be the women's 800m race, which is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. PT. A complete schedule with events and start times can be found here.
The Payton Jordan Invitational is hosted by Stanford University and is held at the Cobb Track and Angell Field. Washington State, Washington, Arizona, and Stanford will be representing the Pac-12 at the meet. A list of accepted entries can be found here.

Fresno State Invitational
The majority of the Washington State men's and women's track and field teams will be in Clovis, California for the Fresno State Invitational. The meet opens Friday, April 29, with a handful of field events starting at 3 p.m. PT, while the rest of the meet will take place Saturday, April 30, starting at 10 a.m. PT. The Fresno State Invitational will be at the Veterans Memorial Stadium. Along with WSU, Colorado and Washington will also be making the trip to Fresno from the Pac-12. A full list of accepted entries can be found here.
