No. 12 USC Rowing Rigs Up To Race In Big Ten-Pac-12 Challenge

IOWA CITY, Iowa– No. 12 USC women's rowing travels to Iowa City, Iowa to compete in the Big Ten – Pac-12 Challenge this Friday (Apr. 29). 
 
USC will compete against No. 14 Oregon State, Minnesota, Iowa, Central Florida, and Wisconsin. USC has yet to race Minnesota, Central Florida, Oregon State and Wisconsin this season. Additionally, this is the first time that the Women of Troy have raced in the waters of Iowa.
 
In March of 2019, the Trojans challenged Big Ten foes in the Pac-12 Challenge, as USC boats faced off against Iowa and Wisconsin in a two-day regatta. On day one of the challenge, USC's Second Varsity Eight and the Varsity Four boats prevailed over the Iowa boats. On day two of the challenge, the Trojans Varsity Four boat defeated Wisconsin's Varsity Four boat by three seconds. 
 
USC will be entering Varsity 8+, Second Varsity 8+, Varsity 4+ boats in the challenge on April 29. 
 
The weekend's race schedule will be as follows:
 
Friday, April 29 –
Varsity 4+ - 9:50 a.m. CT
Second Varsity 8+ - 10:10 a.m. CT
Varsity 8+ - 10:30 a.m. CT
