UCLA Rowing Looks Ahead to Longhorn Invitational

The UCLA women's rowing program returns to action at the Longhorn Invitational at Walter E. Long Lake in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, April 30.
 
The Bruins will race two fours and two eights in competitions against No. 1 Texas, No. 10 Ohio State, No. 14 Virginia and No. 16 Southern Methodist (SMU).
 
Races are expected to begin at 9:36 a.m. CT (7:36 a.m. PT) on Saturday morning in Austin. The racing schedule kicks off with the third varsity eight race at 9:36 a.m. (CT) – three boats from Texas, one boat from Virginia, and one boat from SMU.
 
The second varsity four race will follow at 9:48 a.m. (CT). UCLA's varsity four crew will race at 10 a.m. (CT), followed by the second varsity eight at 10:12 a.m. (CT). The varsity eight race will take place at 10:24 a.m. (CT), as the final competition of the morning.
 
Saturday morning's competition will mark the Bruins' final races until the Pac-12 Championships on Sunday, May 15. The annual Pac-12 Championships will take place at Dexter Lake in Oregon this season.

Spectator entry to the park will begin at approximately 7 a.m. (CT), and parking is free. Once at capacity, no additional queuing to get into the park will be allowed. Parking along the right of way outside the park is not allowed. Those without a day pass may not park along the right of way and enter the park.
