USC's Chevez Goodwin, Drew Peterson, Reggie Parris Named To Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll

LOS ANGELES-- USC men's basketball's Chevez Goodwin, Drew Peterson and Reggie Parris have earned a spot on the 2021-22 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll, it was announced today (April 28).  The trio are the first USC men's basketball players to earn the honor since the Pac-12 went to the Winter Honor Roll format in the 2019-20 season.

The forward Goodwin is a graduate student earning his master's in Communications Management.  He averaged 11.0 points and 6.4 rebounds, while starting all 34 games.  Goodwin was second in rebounding and fourth in scoring for the 2022 Trojans.  Goodwin's valuable presence to the team was noted mid-season when the coaching staff elevated him to a team captain.

Peterson is a senior guard earning his degree in Business Administration.  The Pac-12 All-Conference first team player averaged 12.4 points, 6.2 rebound and 3.3 assists while starting all 34 games.  Peterson made 46.7 percent of his field goals and 41.2 percent of his shots from three-point range.  He led USC with 113 assists, was second on the team with 76 free throws made and was third in rebounding and scoring.  

The senior guard Parris completed his second season in a reserve roll for the Trojans.  At the USC men's basketball team award's banquet, Parris was honored with the Dr. James H. Zumberge Academic Award for the highest GPA on the team.
