Goode Selected By Miami In NFL Draft
LAS VEGAS – Former Cal player Cameron Goode was selected Saturday in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Goode was taken by the Miami Dolphins with the 224th pick overall.
Cal has now also had at least one player taken in the NFL Draft in 35 of the last 37 years. Goode became the 243rd Cal player selected in the history of the NFL Draft and the 250th combined Cal draft selection in pro football (NFL Draft 1936-2022; AFL Draft, 1960-69).

— One of two players who completed their careers at Cal in 2021 along with fellow Texas native Josh Drayden who were members of the Cal football program for all six seasons from 2016-21
— Started and played in 37 career games, all at outside linebacker over his final five seasons at Cal after redshirting as a 2016 true freshman
— Finished his collegiate career with 171 tackles, 36.5 tackles for loss (-183 yards), 21.5 sacks (-132 yards), two interceptions that he returned for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns, 10 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 13 quarterback hurries
