Arizona Selected As Sixth Seed in Bryan, Texas Regional

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Men's Golf was selected as the sixth seed for the Bryan, Texas Regional in Wednesday's NCAA Men's Golf Selection Show. The Wildcats will tee off for NCAA Regionals at the Traditions Club, Texas A&M's home facility, on Monday, May 16. Teams will play 54 holes over three days to qualify for NCAA Championships.

"Our team is prepared and ready to play at NCAA Regionals," said head coach Jim Anderson. "We have had a good season and postseason play is something we have all worked towards. Staying out west is an added bonus for us and an exciting part of the challenge. Traditions Club is a terrific course, and our team will have a great week of practice and qualifying before flying out to Texas."

The entire field at the Bryan, Texas Regional in seeded in order consists of:

  2. Texas A&M
  3. Georgia
  4. Tennessee
  5. Kansas
  6. Arizona
  7. Michigan State
  8. SMU
  9. Boise State
  10. Oregon State
  11. Colorado State
  12. Southeastern Louisiana
  13. Texas Southern

NCAA Regionals consist of six sites with the top five teams from each regional advancing to the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona later this month.
