Bradbury Named ASUN Scholar-Athlete Of The Year; Cambere, Brams Earn All-Academic

ATLANTA – Utah Lacrosse attackman Tyler Bradbury has been named the 2022 ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year, league officials announced today. Bradbury also earned a spot on the All-Academic team along with faceoff specialist Cole Brams and defenseman Samuel Cambere.

Bradbury, who is majoring in finance, has appeared on the AD Honor Roll and the Dean's List in five semesters during his time at Utah, also earning Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2021. He has started in all 12 games this season, leading the team in points (52), recording 24 goals and a team-high 28 assists.

Brams, a quantitative analysis of markets and organizations major, earned Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll last season and has landed on the AD Honor Roll and Dean's List five times. He is leading the team in ground balls this season (88), leading the ASUN in ground balls per game (7.33) and ranking second in faceoff win percentage (.556).

Cambere, a criminology major, has been selected to the AD Honor Roll and Dean's List seven times during his career as a Ute, also earning Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2021. He leads Utah this season in caused turnovers (22), which ranks 13th nationally, also ranking second on the team in ground balls (4.83).

Utah is set to take on Bellarmine in the ASUN semifinals on Thursday, May 5 at 12 p.m. MT. The game, which is being played in Huntsville, Ala., will air on ESPN+.
