Softball Wraps Regular Season at Stanford

Oregon wraps up regular season play with a three-game series at Stanford Friday through Sunday. The Ducks lead the all-time series 54-36.

GAME NOTES

No. 1 STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
According to the latest NCAA RPI report, Oregon has played the toughest schedule in the nation this season. Of the Ducks' 45 games, 23 have been played against teams in the top 50 of the RPI and 37 have come against the top 100. Of the Ducks' 29 wins, 21 have come against teams currently ranked among the RPI top 100.

THE 10 GRADUATES
Ten Ducks will have earned their college degrees by the end of the summer. Three are already college graduates - Jordan Dail, Terra McGowan and Brooke Yanez. Allee Bunker, Rachel Cid, Hannah Galey, Katelyn Howard, Makenna Kliethermes and Karissa Ornelas will graduate at the end of this quarter, while Jasmine Williams will complete her degree this summer. 

RUN DUCKS RUN
Oregon leads the Pac-12 in stolen bases with 78 (1.73 per game; 27th nationally). On the season, the Ducks have swiped 78 bases in 94 attempts. Compare that to the opposition, which has 21 steals in 33 tries. The Ducks set a school record with nine steals March 21 at BYU. Oregon has stolen at least three bases 12 times this season.

POWER SURGE
Oregon surpassed last season's home run total, 54 (57 games), in the 38th game of 2022. Through 45 games this season, the Ducks have hit 61 home runs. Oregon has also already surpassed last season's run total (2021 - 269; 2022 - 278).
