Keeshawn Barthelemy Signs with Ducks

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon head coach Dana Altman announced today the signing of transfer Keeshawn Barthelemy, a 6-2 guard from the University of Colorado.
 
Barthelemy spent the last two years with Colorado and started 28 of 33 games for the Buffaloes last season, averaging 11.1 points (.420 FG%, .826 FT%), 2.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25.8 minutes per game. His 82.6 percent free throw percentage ranked fifth in the Pac-12, making 76-of-92 attempts on the year. Barthelemy reached double figures in 18 games and notched 19 points, five assists and four rebounds in the Jan. 25 game at Oregon, his highest scoring outing in conference play.
 
"Keeshawn will add valuable Pac-12 experience to our backcourt, and we are really excited to add him to the team," said Altman. "He has shown tremendous improvement in his first two seasons, and we expect him have a real impact on the team."
 
From Montreal, Quebec, Barthelemy represented Team Canada in the U17 FIBA World Cup, helping the team to a fourth-place finish. A graduate of Thornlea Secondary School in Toronto, Barthelemy and new teammate Quincy Guerrier were AAU teammates at Brookwood Elite in Montreal.
