Men’s Golf Opens Play At NCAA Bryan Regional Monday

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team is heading to the NCAA Bryan Regional, which is set to be played May 16-18. The Beavers have advanced to their third consecutive NCAA postseason appearance and sixth under head coach Jon Reehoorn.
 
Carson Barry and Mateo Fuenmayor were both named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention this season. Barry competed at the 2021 NCAA Regional in Albuquerque, N.M., placing in a tie for 26th with a 1-under 215. Jackson Lake, who is also competing at the Bryan Regional, was a 3-over 219, finishing in a tie for 36th a year ago.
 
Barry (72.06), Lake (72.28) and Fuenmayor (72.73) are all averaging under 73 shots per round this season. Barry has seven rounds under par, and 35 for his career. Lake is at seven this year and 21 for his career while Fuenmayor has posted eight in 2021-22 and 11 for his career.
 
FIELD (13): The regional features 13 teams. They are (in order of seed): Pepperdine, Texas A&M, Georgia, Tennessee, Kansas, Arizona, Michigan State, SMU, Boise State, Oregon State, Colorado State, Southeastern Louisiana and Texas Southern.
 
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,146-yard Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas. The regional is being hosted by Texas A&M.
 
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Mateo Fuenmayor, Jackson Lake, Carson Barry, Alfred Raja and Brandon Eyre.

FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament. The teams will play 18 rounds each day. The top five teams and individual not on an advancing team will move on the NCAA Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz. Each team will have five competitors, with four counting toward each round's score.
 
TEE TIMES: Oregon State opens play at 6:55 a.m. PT (8:55 a.m. in Texas) on Monday. Here are the tee times for each OSU golfer (Pacific times listed):
