Treesh Named Women's Basketball Director of Video & Analytics

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Head Women's Basketball Coach Lynne Roberts has announced the addition of Joey Treesh to her staff for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Treesh will serve as the Director of Video and Analytics. 
 
"I am excited to add Joey to our staff as our Director of Video and Analytics," remarked Coach Roberts. "Joey is smart, driven, and organized. I was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise in video software, and his advanced skill sets will continue to advance our program forward. Welcome to the Ute family, Joey!"
 
During the 2021-22 season, Treesh was the Video Coordinator and Recruiting Assistant at Appalachian State University. In his lone year with Appalachian State, Treesh led the video efforts for the team in coding, labeling, and keeping stats of each game and practice in Sportscode. He also created personalized scout shot charts in Sportscode. Treesh also handled a variety of recruiting projects.

Before arriving at App State, Treesh worked with the WNBA's Indiana Fever as a basketball operation assistant. He managed daily equipment, prepared practices/games for home and visiting teams, assisted in drills and workouts, and served as a practice player. 
 
From 2018-20, he was a graduate assistant with the women's basketball team at Henderson State. He designed team graphics and led workouts for the guards while preparing food and coordinating the team's travel. 
 
He also served as a varsity girl's assistant coach at Edgewood High School in Indiana during the 2020-21 campaign. 

A native of Garrett, Ind., Treesh graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in sports administration from Henderson State University.
