Skyler Blair will represent the Utes in the 400m hurdles at the regionals for the second time in her career with a qualifying time of 58.54. From the middle distance crew, Brooke Manson and Josefine Eriksen will compete in the 800m run while Simone Plourde and Sophie Ryan race in the 1500m. Eriksen's qualifying time of 2:05.56 (aa) was the fourth-fastest time in program history for the Utes this season while Manson's mark of 2:05.94 this year was a new PR for the junior as she looks to make her second appearance at the West Regionals as well.
Plourde will be competing in her second-straight regional, first with Utah, in the 1500m after posting the 12th fastest qualifying mark of 4:16.71. Meanwhile, Ryan will compete in her first regional race after running a new PR time of 4:19.09 this past April at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
On the distance side, Cara Woolnough and Keelah Barger are slated to race in the 5000m while Bella Williams runs in the 10000m race. Woolnough, who broke the school record in the 5k back in April, has the ninth-fastest qualifying time among the declared athletes with a time of 15:40.52 while Barger checks in with a time of 16:10.66 – which is the eighth-fastest mark at Utah to earn her a spot in the regional race for the first time in her career. Williams competes in her second-career regional race, first in the 10k, behind a qualifying time of 33:59.39.
Last, but not least, will be Utah's 4x400m relay team – who earned the final spot for the West Regionals after winning their heat at the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 3:40.19.
