Men's Golf Round Two Update From Grayhawk

The Sun Devils finished the second round of the 2022 NCAA Golf Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club Saturday morning not knowing where it would be, with 15 teams still to play the afternoon wave.

Heading to Sunday's third round -- where the field will be cut to 15 teams -- the Sun Devils (290-292) are tied for eighth at 22-over with Texas (291-291). The Sun Devils will tee with Auburn and Texas starting at 7:05 a.m. off No. 1.

NOT EASY TO GET HERE: Getting to Grayhawk isn't easy, as eight teams ranked in the Golfstat top 30 after regional action had their season's end. Not advancing to the NCAA Championship this year were Pac-12 champion Washington (9), Illinois (19), Notre Dame (20), LSU (21), Tennessee (22), Clemson (24), South Carolina (28) and Purdue (29).
