SEATTLE -- Washington Volleyball is set for its third foreign tour of Europe in the past ten years as the Huskies board an early Saturday morning flight out of SeaTac that will carry them to Graz, Austria by Sunday. The Huskies will spend the next twelve days exploring Slovenia, Italy, and France, returning home on June 23.
"Many of us are fortunate enough to know that travel is a transformative experience," says Head Coach Keegan Cook. "It can give you a perspective that can change the way you live and make you a better person. I love that we have the opportunity at Washington to give that gift of perspective to our athletes."
The Huskies will have a total of sixteen student-athletes on the trip, with the fourteen returners from the 2021 squad plus incoming freshmen Elise Hani and Kate Morin.
Washington is currently scheduled for five matches during the trip. Opponents are still being confirmed.
