Jun 11, 2022

EUGENE, Oregon - The final day of the NCAA Track Championships saw Jorinde van Klinken defend her discus title in the final outdoor meet of her collegiate career. The Dutchwoman won by over 12 feet (62.16m/203-11), helped secure ASU's eighth place (28 points) finish, and gave van Klinken her 14th consecutive collegiate discus victory. It's the women's best finish since 2009 where they finished third in the team standings; the men ended the championships in 15th (17 points). That's seven total trophies for the Maroon and Gold this week, and van Klinken ends her collegiate career with a perfect 14-0 discus record.
