2022 Soccer Schedule Set

Jun 15, 2022

BOULDER—The full 2022 Colorado soccer schedule was completed with the Pac-12 Conference's announcement of league games and television selections on Wednesday.

The Buffaloes will kick things off with a previously announced nine-game non-conference schedule. CU's opener on Aug. 18 was selected by the Pac-12 Network and will be one of 10 matches featured across the Pac-12 Networks this season.

Colorado's Pac-12 season will start at home against Arizona State (Sept. 23). The Buffs will also have home dates against Oregon State (Oct. 6), Oregon (Oct. 9), UCLA (Oct. 20), Southern California (Oct. 23) and the season-finale against Utah (Nov. 4).

Danny Sanchez's squad will have road conference road tests at Washington State (Sept. 29), Washington (Oct. 2), Arizona (Oct. 14), California (Oct. 27) and Stanford (Oct. 30).

CU's first three home matches will be on the Pac-12 Networks. Home matches not selected by the Pac-12 Network will be streamed online.

CU will host its inaugural Soccer Ball on August 20. The black-tie event will include a dinner, silent auction and paddle raise. All proceeds will be used for facility and equipment improvements and to enhance experiences for the team's student-athletes.

The 2022 Buffs return six of the top seven scorers from the 2021 season. Hannah Sharts heads into her fourth season at CU looking to lead the team back to the NCAA Tournament. Shyra James, Kayleigh Webb and Allie Palangi each look to build off strong seasons a year ago.

Senior Dani Hansen and sophomore Bella Grust will look to continue CU's tradition of strong goaltenders. The Buffs also have a strong corps of incoming freshman that will immediately help the team com the first day of fall training.
