Men's Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule
LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men's soccer program on Wednesday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. The Bruins will open the season with home exhibitions against Westmont (Aug. 15) and UNLV (Aug. 20) before starting the regular season at home against UC Irvine on Aug. 25.
UCLA will play 10 regular season home games at Wallis Annenberg Stadium this season in addition to the two preseason exhibitions. The Bruins are scheduled to play 18 regular season games overall this year.
In non-conference competition, the Bruins are slated to host UCI (Aug. 25), Virginia Tech (Aug. 28), Liberty (Sept. 2), Grand Canyon (Sept. 5), and Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 24). The Bruins will travel for non-league contests at Portland (Sept. 10), Loyola Marymount (Oct. 14), and Rutgers (Oct. 29).
As in years past, the Bruins will play a balanced Pac-12 Conference schedule, playing home-and-away against all five conference rivals. UCLA opens up league competition on the road at Stanford on Sept. 15. The Bruins' Pac-12 home opener is tabbed for Sept. 29 against Oregon State.
The Pac-12 Networks is scheduled to broadcast 11 of UCLA's games this year, including eight home tilts at Wallis Annenberg Stadium.
UCLA is coming off a successful 2021 season, as the Bruins went 11-7-1 and reached the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
