The UCLA women's soccer team, under new head coach Margueritte Aozasa, will officially begin its new era on Thursday, Aug. 18 for the 2022 season opener against Iowa at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. The Bruins have 10 scheduled home games, kicking things off with an exhibition contest against Fresno State on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Marquee games on the schedule include road games against 2020 NCAA champion Santa Clara on Aug. 28, a Sept. 1 road matchup against Duke, followed by a Sept. 4 contest at 21-time NCAA champion North Carolina. Aozasa will face her former team Stanford for the first time on Oct. 14 on the Farm. The regular season will conclude on Nov. 4 at cross-town rival USC.

Eleven of the Bruins' games will be televised on the Pac-12 Network, including eight of 11 conference games.

UCLA returns eight players who started at least 10 games last season, including top returning scorer Reilyn Turner (10 goals, 21 points), 2020 All-American goalkeeper Lauren Brzykcy (0.55 goals against average, nine shutouts) and Mexican National Team member Maricarmen Reyes (four goals, 10 points). The 2021 Bruins went 16-1-3 overall and 8-0-3 in Pac-12 play to capture their second consecutive conference title.

Tickets for all games will go on sale at a later date in August. Visit uclabruins.com/tickets for more information and click here to subscribe to UCLA Soccer emails to stay up-to-date on tickets, promotions, and more.
