This year's edition of the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge (Sept. 9-10) takes Oregon to the Gopher State where the team will face host Minnesota and Penn State. This marks the fourth year of the Challenge matchups that also includes Stanford.
The non-conference season concludes in Coral Gables, Fla., against South Carolina (Sept. 17) and Miami (Sept. 18).
Beginning with Rice, the Ducks close out the non-conference slate with five-consecutive matches against teams that played in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
Conference play begins Sept. 21 at Oregon State. First serve of the in-state matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks. The two teams will meet again Nov. 26 in the regular-season finale, that time on the Ducks' home floor.
The 2022 season will be the program's sixth under head coach Matt Ulmer who has led Oregon to four NCAA Tournament appearances. Last year, the Ducks were 22-9 overall with a 13-7 mark in conference play. Along with Ulmer, the Oregon staff includes Erika Dillard in her fifth season overall and first as associate head coach and, new assistant coach—and three-time Olympian—Tayyiba Haneef-Park who joined the program in February.
