SEATTLE – The University of Washington women's soccer team released its upcoming 2022 schedule today. The 19-game schedule features nine home contests, including five Pac-12 match ups.
The Huskies will host a pair of exhibition matches at Husky Soccer Stadium against the University of British Columbia on Aug. 7 and Idaho on Aug. 11.
Regular season contests begin at home versus Fresno State (Aug. 18) and Air Force (Aug. 21).
Up next, the Huskies will head down to Southern California for a match against Loyola Marymount on Aug. 25 and at Long Beach State on Aug. 28 before returning back home. Washington will host its final nonconference matches versus Texas Tech (Sept. 1) and Seattle U (Sept. 4).
The Huskies hit the road again for a three-match swing at Portland (Sept. 11) and at Cincinnati (Sept. 16) before opening conference play at Oregon on Sept. 23. Last season, the Huskies and Ducks finished in a tie for fifth-place in the Pac-12 standings.
The first Pac-12 home contests comes against Utah on Sept. 29 and Colorado on Oct. 2.
After a trip to the Bay Area to take on Stanford (Oct. 6) and Cal (Oct. 9), the Huskies return to Montlake for its final three home contests of the season. The homestand includes matches against Oregon State on Oct. 14, Arizona on Oct. 20 and Arizona State on Oct. 23. The Oregon State match is a part of a doubleheader with the men's team that hosts Gonzaga earlier in the day.
Washington concludes the season on the road for three games. The Huskies open the road swing with matches at USC on Oct. 27 and at the defending Pac-12 Champions UCLA on Oct. 30. The final contest of the regular season will be over in Pullman as the Huskies take on the Cougars on Nov. 4.
