Lemons, Stout Named USILA Scholar All-Americans; Utes Earn USILA All-Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Utah Lacrosse program was honored today by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association with the Utes earning USILA All-Academic Team recognition along with Josh Stout and Rylan Lemons being named Scholar All-Americans.

Stout and Lemons are Utah's first Scholar All-Americans in program history with the Utes coming off a regular season ASUN title and a school record 10 wins in 2022.

Stout, who graduated in 2020 with a nursing degree, leaves Utah as the school record holder in single-game goals (7), single-season goals (43), career points (105), career goals (74) and career man-up goals (10).

The Alpine, Utah, native earned second-team All-ASUN this season after racking up 45 points (26 goals, 19 assists), 10 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. He scored seven points against Cleveland State, that included a season-best six goals, along with his season-high eight points against Robert Morris with a career-high five assists and three goals.

Lemons graduated in 2022 with a degree in finance after playing in 39 career games with 24 starts as a Ute. He finished his career with 55 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers and six points (1 goal, 5 assists).

Lemons ranks in the top-five all-time at Utah in career ground balls and caused turnovers. In 2022, the Windsor, Colo., native recorded 30 ground balls and nine caused turnovers, also scoring his first collegiate goal against Mercer.
