All-America Accolades Continue

STANFORD, Calif. – Brock Jones, Carter Graham and Braden Montgomery recently added more All-America honors to their respective resumes, with Graham and Jones landing on Baseball America's All-America teams. Graham and Montgomery also recently earned spots on All-America squads according to Perfect Game.

Graham was named to Baseball America's All-America second team while also earning a spot on Perfect Game's third team. He had previously been named a third-team All-American according to Collegiate Baseball.

An All-Pac-12 first team honoree, Graham hit .331 with 64 runs scored, 13 doubles, a triple and a Pac-12-best 22 home run while driving in a team-high 79 runs as part of a breakout sophomore season. Graham strung together a 15-game hitting streak during the year, and hit safely in all but 12 of his 64 games played. The native of Los Angeles hit .365 with 34 runs scored, seven doubles, 11 homers and 42 RBIs in Pac-12 play.

Jones, a second-team All-American according to D1Baseball, placed on Baseball America's third team after previously landing on ABCA's third team as well.

An All-Pac-12 first team honoree, Jones led Stanford in runs scored (78), triples (5) and on-base percentage (.451) while ranking second in home runs (21) and first in slugging (.664). The native of Fresno, Calif. batted .324 and drew 55 walks while reaching in all but two games this year and collecting 23 multi-hit games. Jones hit .350 with 42 runs scored, seven doubles, three triples, 13 homers and 30 RBIs in Pac-12 play and finished the season having hit safely in eight straight contests.

Montgomery was named a first-team Freshman All-American according to Perfect Game after earning his spot as the utility two-way player following a stellar inaugural campaign on The Farm. The native of Madison, Miss. had previously earned Freshman All-America honors according to Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA (second team).

Montgomery hit .294 with 50 runs scored, 16 doubles, two triples and 18 home runs while driving in 57. The 18 homers set a Stanford record for a freshman. Stanford's cleanup hitter for the latter portion of the year, Montgomery was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and All-Pac-12 honorable mention. On the mound, Montgomery made 15 appearances, including three starts, and logged 18 2/3 innings with 28 strikeouts. Opponents hit just .182 against the hard-throwing right-hander.
