Washington Softball Represented at 2022 World Games

SEATTLE – The UW softball program will be represented by four former and current Huskies at the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, Ala., July 9-13.
Heather Tarr will lead the United States squad and current Husky, Sami Reynolds, is one of two replacement athletes for the Red, White and Blue.
Representing Team Canada is former Huskies Victoria Hayward and Jenn Salling. Salling will serve as an assistant coach on the team.
The 2022 World Games field consists of two groups with USA, Canada, Chinese Taipei and Italy in Group A and Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Australia in Group B. The groups will compete in preliminary round games starting July 9, with the semifinal round played on July 12 and medal games on July 13.
