7-For-7! Entire Roster Named ITA Scholar Athlete; Sun Devils Tabbed All-Academic Team

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Seven-for-seven!

All seven student-athletes on the Sun Devil Women's Tennis roster have earned ITA Scholar Athlete status, the organization announced Monday. Additionally, the Sun Devils have been tabbed an All-Academic Team.

To earn Scholar Athlete honors, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 for the 2021-22 academic year. All-Academic teams have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Marianna Argyrokastriti, Sedona Gallagher, Natasha Hill, Cali Jankowski, Giulia Morlet, Patricija Spaka and Domenika Turkovic combined for a 3.89 GPA in the fall 2021 semester -- the best mark amongst all 26 teams on campus -- helping SDA to an all-time high 3.32 GPA.

Argyrokastriti, Hill, Jankowski, Morlet and Turkovic are Scholar Athletes for the second consecutive season, while Spaka and Gallagher earn the honor in their first season in Tempe.
