USC Track & Field To Be Well Represented At 2022 World Athletics Championships

USC is set to have 18 current and former students compete at the 2022 World Athletics Championships to be held at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. from July 15-24.  There are expected to be over 1,900 athletes from 192 country delegations competing at this year's championships which will be the first ever contested on U.S. soil. 

Among the many Trojans competing will be 2022 USC team member Celera Barnes who now ranks second on the USC women's all-time 100m dash list (10.94), behind TeeTee Terry (10.89) who also will be competing.  Individual 2019 World Athletics Championships gold medalist Nia Ali (100m hurdles) and Dalilah Muhammad (400m hurdles) will be in action to defend their world titles.
