17 From Lacrosse Land on Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll

Jul 19, 2022

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference announced the 2022 Spring Academic Honor Roll, recognizing the hard work of the student-athletes in the classroom.

A total of 17 members of Sun Devil Lacrosse earned a spot on the list, the most of any single athletics program at Arizona State. As a whole, Sun Devil Athletics landed over 100 student-athletes on the Spring Academic Honor Roll.

"I admire the team's effort in the classroom this past year," Sun Devil Lacrosse Head Coach Taryn VanThof remarked. "It is satisfying to see their hard work and long hours of dedication be recognized."

Not only did Sun Devil Lacrosse get it done on the field during a record-breaking season, the program continues its tradition of excelling in the classroom.

Academics has long been a priority for the Arizona State Lacrosse program. After establishing a new high for Honor Roll selections last year, the Maroon & Gold once again delivered in the classroom in 2022. Several Sun Devils are also eligible for the IWLCA Academic National Honor Roll, which will be announced later this month.

Don't expect this academic prowess to change under the direction of new Head Coach Taryn VanThof, who stated in her introductory press conference, "I'm a big proponent of 'student-athletes are more than student-athletes', they're people first. We want to make sure we develop them as people, students, athletes and even as a unit."

Any student-athlete on their respective team roster with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, was eligible for the distinction. Here are the Sun Devils on the 2022 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll:
