SEATTLE – Incoming UW softball freshman Brooklyn Carter has been named to the second annual Alliance Fastpitch All-Star Game.

Carter comes to Montlake from Inglewood, Calif. as the ninth-ranked member of the class of 2022 by Extra Innings Softball and No. 30 by Softball America. She was named to the 2019 All-PGF 16U team as a freshman and named the Class 6A Newcomer of the Year at Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. She plays on the club circuit with Firecrackers Brasher.

An incoming Husky has competed in the Alliance All-Star Game in back-to-back summers, as rising sophomore infielder Kinsey Fiedler played for the American Team in 2021.
