Huskies Ranked Third In Preseason Poll

SEATTLE – Coming off its best season in program history, the UW men's soccer team will open the 2022 season as the No. 3 team in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Top 25 Poll.
 
Washington is one of three Pac-12 schools ranked in the preseason Top 25. Oregon State earned the No. 5 ranking, while UCLA sits at No. 23. To view the complete Top 25 poll, click here.
 
The Huskies will open the season on Aug. 25 vs. Sacramento State at 7:30 p.m. at Husky Soccer Stadium. Washington returns 22 players from last year's College Cup final squad, including All-Pac-12 selections Lucas Meek, Kalani Kossa-Rienzi, Nick Scardina and Christian Soto.
