Kelly Announces 2022-23 Women's Golf Schedule

Aug 12, 2022

BOULDER — University of Colorado women's golf coach Anne Kelly announced the team's 2022-23 schedule, which will feature five fall events and four spring events leading into the Pac-12 Championship.

Three of the five fall tournaments are new to the Buffs as they open the campaign Sept. 12-13 at the Olympic Club Invitational in San Francisco, Calif. The University of San Francisco will host the two-day event.

The second tournament is the Golfweek Red Sky Challenge, Sept. 26-28. This is the second consecutive season the Buffaloes will compete at the three-day tournament, which was cut short by one round in 2022 due to weather. The tournament will be played in Wolcott, Colo., at the prestigious Red Sky Golf Club.

The next two tournaments are also new for CU. First up is the Barbara Nicklaus Cup, Oct. 3-4. Ohio State will host the tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio. Later in the month, Oct. 23-24, the Buffaloes head to Texas for the Jim West Challenge. Texas State will host the tournament at Kissing Tree Golf Course in San Marcos, Texas.

The final fall tournament for CU has been a staple of the schedule since joining the Pac-12 as the Buffs are set to compete at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. The event takes place at the exclusive Nanea Country Club in Kailua Kona, Hawai'i.

The 2023 spring season begins with a very familiar tournament for CU, the Lamkin Invitational. San Diego State will host the tournament at The Farms Country Club in Ranch Santa Fe, Calif., Feb. 13-14.

The Buffs remaining three tournaments are also familiar as CU played all three during the 2022 spring. The Juli Inkster Invitational is March 6-7, at Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., and will be followed by the PING/Arizona State Invitational, March 24-26, at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix.

The regular season will conclude April 3-5 with the Buffaloes co-hosting their annual Chevron Silverado Showdown with Oregon in Napa, Calif., at the Silverado Resort and Spa.

Arizona State will host the 2023 Pac-12 Championship April 17-19. NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 8-10 at various sites, while the NCAA Championship will be May 19-24 in Scottsdale, Ariz., at Grayhawk Golf Club.
