Bears To Play Chinese National Team On Foreign Tour

PARIS – The California men's basketball team has rescheduled the first game of its preseason foreign tour to Europe and will now face the Chinese National Team on Tuesday. Cal was originally scheduled to face Vanves GPSO in its first of three games on a 10-day trip to France, Belgium and Germany.
 
The Golden Bears' contest against China will be played at 6:30 p.m. local time (9:30 a.m. PT) Tuesday at The One Ball in Noisy-le Grand, France. Cal's games against Spirou Basket in Charleroi, Belgium on Aug. 18 and Bayer Giants Leverkusen in Leverkusen, Germany on Aug. 20 remain as scheduled. None of the three games will be live streamed.

  • Tuesday, Aug. 16: vs. Chinese National Team (6:30 p.m. local/9:30 a.m. PT in Noisy-le Grand, France)
  • Thursday, Aug. 18: vs. Spirou Basket (8 p.m. local/11 a.m. PT in Charleroi, Belgium)
  • Saturday, Aug. 20: vs. Leverkusen (8 p.m. local/11 a.m. PT in Leverkusen, Germany)
