Aug 24, 2022

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Former Oregon State women's rower Alina Hagstrom has been named to the U.S. Rowing World Championships roster, the organization has announced.

Hagstrom, from Seattle, will be on the Women's Eight team that will compete Sept. 18-25 in Prague, Czech Republic. It's the first time the World Championships will be held since 2019 due to Covid-19.

Hagstrom is one of three two-time All-Americans in Oregon State's history, earning the honor in 2018 and 2019. She was all-conference in 2018 and 2019, and a member of the U23 World Championships squad that won a Gold Medal in 2018.

She was also a three-time academic honoree during her OSU career. Hagstrom was named First-Team All-Pac-12 Academic in 2017, with second-team honors following in 2018 and 2019.
