LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – In Thursday's season opener, the Women of Oregon swept the top-five spots and the Men of Oregon placed four in the top seven overall on their way to clinching team titles at the Lewis & Clark Opener. Melissa Berry picked up the individual victory for the UO women, finishing just ahead of teammate Harper McClain.

Thursday's race also featured UO debuts for Luke Affolder, Sebastian Barclay, Kendall Martin and men's runner-up Giuliano Scasso. The Lewis & Clark Opener also marked the program's first meet under head coach Jerry Schumacher.
