Last Time Out
Powered by a sizzling offense and stifling defense, the Ducks put a bow on its non-conference schedule with a four-set win at Miami. The team's .440 hitting percentage was their third outing of the season at .400 or higher. Oregon's offense also held Miami to a season-low .096 efficiency on its home floor.
In the Pac-12
The Ducks begin conference play fourth in the Pac-12 in both hitting percentage (.281) and opponent hitting percentage (.165). The team leads the leagues in assists per set (13.13) and ranks third at 13.97 kills per set. Individually, Brooke Nuneviller is the only player in the Pac-12 ranked among the top 10 in kills per set (fourth – 4.16 k/s) and digs per set (10th – 3.22 d/s).
We've Got a Winner…or Two
Hannah Pukis and Mimi Colyer earned Pac-12 Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week honors thanks to their standout efforts at last weekend's Hurricane Invitational. Pukis dished out 12.00 assists per set and directed the UO offense to a .407 hitting percentage. Colyer, now a three-time pick, hit .372 and put down 2.86 kills per set against South Carolina and Miami.
Into the Top 10
With her fifth dig against South Carolina, libero Georgia Murphy cracked the program's career top-10 list. She finished the straight-set win with 14 digs, and after a 13-dig showing at Miami, Murphy is now ninth in UO history with 1,203 career digs. She enters Wednesday's match ranked fifth in the Pac-12 at 3.56 digs per set this season.
Go Off, Glo
Senior opposite Gloria Mutiri is hitting .464 over the past three matches and averaging 2.92 kills per set in that same stretch. She has committed just three attack errors during her hot streak.
