USC Women's Volleyball Rides Three-Match Win Streak into Pac-12 Play, Heads To UCLA

LOS ANGELES – The USC women's volleyball team (8-3) carries a three-match win streak into Pac-12 play this week. The Trojans open with a road bout against crosstown rival UCLA (6-3) on Thursday and then will host Washington State at Galen Center on Saturday afternoon.

  • USC is led by third-year head coach Brad Keller who has the unique experience of having also served as an assistant for the USC men.

  • The Women of Troy are 185-52 (.781) all-time at Galen Center. They are undefeated in six home matches this season and have won seven straight.
  • Sr. OH Skylar Fields was named Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference. She leads the league at 4.24 kills per set and is third in points (4.67 pps).
  • So. S Mia Tuaniga leads the Pac-12 in assists (11.05 aps) and ranks third in service aces (0.50 saps).
  • Fr. LIB Gala Trubint ranks fourth in the Pac-12 in digs (3.78 dps) and is the top freshman defender in the league. The next closest freshman ranks 45th.
  • The Trojans and Bruins have played five-set matches in eight of the teams' last 15 meetings dating back to the 2014 season.
  • USC and Washington State will meet only once this season. Conversely, the Trojans and Washington will play only once as well (Nov. 23).
  • The Trojans are 30-4 against the Cougars in Los Angeles but WSU has won the last two meetings at Galen Center and last lost there in 2018.
  • USC is 33-13 in conference openers (13-8 on the road; 3-2 at UCLA).
