*WR Jordan Addison scored the only receiving TD on the night with his game-winning 21-yard reception with 1:13 left on the clock.

*He totaled 3 receptions for 42 yards.

*Addison is No. 4 in the nation in receiving TDs with 6 on the season, and is tied for first place in that stat in the Pac-12 Conference.

*WR Tahj Washington led the team with 6 receptions for 67 yards.

*USC is the only team in the nation to not commit a turnover in the 2022 season.

*Defensively, USC collected 4 INTs against the Beavers. ILB Eric Gentry, DB Max Williams, DB Mekhi Blackmon and DB Ceyair Wright each picked off Oregon State QB Chance Nolan.

*It was Blackmon and Williams' second INT of the season and Gentry and Wright's first-career INT.

*It's the first time USC has recorded multiple takeaways in 4 straight games since having multiple takeaways in 7 straight games to start 2012.

*ILB Eric Gentry decorated his stat sheet against Oregon State. He collected 8 tackles with 0.5 for loss for 4 yards.

*In the second quarter of the game, Gentry made a huge defensive play by picking off Beaver QB Chance Nolan. This turnover allowed the Trojan offense to drive down the field and set up USC's PK Denis Lynch to kick a 42-yard FG that put USC's first points on the board.

*Gentry recorded a pass breakup on Oregon State's final drive and also tipped Beaver QB Nolan's pass on the final play of the game that allowed USC DB Max Williams to intercept the ball to seal the Trojan victory.

*Gentry also tallied a quarterback hurry.

*ILB Shane Lee led the team with 12 tackles.

*USC held Oregon State to season lows in both receiving (167) and rushing (153) yards.

*PK Denis Lynch went 1-for-2 on FGs, hitting a 42-yarder. He was also perfect on PATs going 2-for-2.

*P Aadyn Sleep-Dalton recorded 4 punts for 14 yards. He averaged 41.0 yards per punt with a long of 45 yards. He pinned 2 punts inside the 20-yard line to force the Beavers deep into their own territory to begin their offensive drives.

*For the first time since 2010, USC went undefeated in the month of September.

*After ASU fired head coach Herm Edwards last week following the team's 21-30 loss to Eastern Michigan, the Sun Devils are now being led by interim head coach Shaun Aguano.

*In his first game as interim head coach, the Sun Devils lost 13-34 to No. 13 Utah at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. in the team's first Pac-12 Conference matchup.

*QB Emory Jones had a season-high 261 yards through the air going 21-of-36.

*USC is ranked No. 6 in the latest AP Poll and 6th in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Arizona State is not ranked.

*USC holds a 23-14 edge in its series with Arizona State (not including Troy's 2005 road victory later vacated due to NCAA penalty; original record 24-14). USC has won 5 of the past 7 meetings. But before that, the Trojans dropped 3 of the previous 4 after having won the prior 10 games (not including Troy's 2005 road victory later vacated due to NCAA penalty; original record 11), the longest win streak in the series.

*In 2020 during the last meeting in the Coliseum, QB Kedon Slovis threw a pair of fourth down touchdown passes in the game's final 3 minutes. The first was 26 yards to WR Bru McCoy with 2:52 to go that tipped off of WR Amon-Ra St. Brown's hands. After McCoy recovered the ensuing onside kick, the second was a 21-yarder that WR Drake London snagged over 2 defenders with 1:20 to play to help No. 20 USC dramatically come back to beat Arizona State, 28-27, in its twice-delayed 2020 season opener. The 13-point fourth quarter deficit was the largest that the Trojans overcame since a 14-point spread against Penn State in the 2017 Rose Bowl. It was USC's first one-point victory since beating Arizona State in 2010. Because the COVID-19 pandemic twice delayed the Pac-12's season start, it was the latest USC began a season since 1918. The game kicked off at 9 a.m., the earliest for a USC home game since at least the early 1950s. It was the first time USC opened a season against a league opponent since 1994. It also was the first time that USC began a season with its Homecoming game.

*In games played in the Coliseum, USC leads the series, 12-6.

*Last year in Tempe, ASU's RB Rachaad White ran for 2 of his 3 touchdowns in the fourth quarter en route to a 200-yard rushing performance and help host Arizona State post a 31-16 victory over USC under the lights in Tempe before a sold-out crowd of 53,926 and an ESPN audience. USC used 2 quarterbacks with mixed results. QB Kedon Slovis was 16-of-28 for 131 yards as the starter and QB Jaxson Dart was 8-of-17 for 89 yards off the bench while playing 5 of the Trojans' 12 series. Both threw an interception. WR Tahj Washington had a career-high and game-best 9 receptions for 78 yards and WR Gary Bryant Jr. added 6 catches for 64 yards as USC played its first game without star WR Drake London, who broke his ankle the previous outing. RB Keaontay Ingram ran for 54 yards on 14 carries. See page 4 for a complete recap of that most recent matchup.

*USC has won 69.7% (484-202-29) of its games against current Pac-12 opponents (does not include 9 wins later vacated due to NCAA penalty; original record: 493-202-29, 70.1%).

*USC has a 313-124-19 (.707) all-time record while playing in the month of October (not including 5 wins vacated due to NCAA penalty; revised record: 318-124-19, .710). AT NIGHT

*USC is 185-75-4 (.708) at night, including 109-35-4 in the Coliseum, 61-32 on the road and 15-8 at neutral sites. (Does not include 5 wins and 1 loss vacated due to NCAA penalty; original record: 190-76-4, .709 overall, 112-35-4 in the Coliseum, 17-9 at neutral sites, USC had a school-record 32-game win streak at home at night from 1997 to 2010).
