SAN FRANCISCO - Reigning Pac-12 Champion Arizona men’s basketball tips off the Pac-12 hoops slate with its "First Watch Red-Blue Game," airing Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. PT / 8:30 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network, the Pac-12 Now app and Pac-12 Insider.
Fans can get their first look at nine Wildcat newcomers this Friday, including graduate transfers Cedric Henderson Jr. (Campbell) and Courtney Ramey (Texas), as well as highly-touted freshmen Dylan Anderson, Kylan Boswell and Henri Veesaar. The “First Watch Red-Blue Game” will feature a scrimmage, a shooting contest and slam dunk contest.
The Wildcats are coming off a stellar 2021-22 season in which they went 33-4, won the Pac-12 Tournament, and earned a top seed in the NCAA Tournament while advancing to the Sweet 16. Head coach Tommy Lloyd earned National Coach of the Year honors from the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), and was one win shy of the most in NCAA history for a first-year coach. Arizona welcomes back First Team All Pac-12 honoree Azuolas Tubelis, Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year Pelle Larsson, and the league’s 2021-22 assist leader in Kerr Kriisa.
In addition to the event airing on Pac-12 Network and Pac-12 Arizona, fans can also watch on Pac-12 Insider as a preview of the upcoming 145 men's basketball games across Pac-12 Networks this season. Pac-12 Insider, the free streaming channel, is available across nine partner platforms including Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Vizio, Xumo, Sports on Tubi, Local Now, Redbox, Sling and Sportstribal, as well as Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app.
