Bears Take Aim At Blessings Collegiate Invitational

BERKELEY – The California men's golf team will kick off a busy October at the third-annual Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Oct. 3-5.
 
The 54-hole, three-day event will be hosted by Arkansas at Blessings Golf Club and will be televised on Golf Channel. Cal is one of 11 men's teams competing in the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, considered one of collegiate golf's premier tournaments. It is the first and only collegiate tournament to feature men's and women's programs playing the same course at the same time with all five players from each school playing in the same groups.
 
In addition to the traditional team and individual titles, a combined team champion and a combined, best-ball champion will be crowned on Oct. 5.
 
Cal will tee off from hole 10 at 7:15 a.m. PT on Monday and from hole 1 at 9 a.m. PT on Tuesday. Wednesday's tee times will be determined based on seeding after rounds one and two. Visit BlessingsCollegiate.com for more complete information about the event.

Won medalist honors at 2022 NCGA Amateur Stroke Play Championship (71-70-71 – 212, -1); was the only golfer in the 87-player field to play the 54-hole event under par & is believed to be only the second 17-year-old to win the event with the only other golf legend Johnny Miller in 1964 ...
