BERKELEY, Calif. - Starting its season off in enemy territory, Stanford dominated the field at the Cal Fall Invite, capturing two singles and two doubles titles over the weekend.

Connie Ma and Valencia Xu won the blue and gold draws in singles, respectively, beating fellow teammates Angelica Blake and India Houghton.

Ma and Alexandra Yepifanova won the blue draw in doubles, while Ana Geller and Xu took the gold draw.

Ma, ranked No. 7 nationally, breezed towards her title, dropping only 12 games in four matches played. Similarly dominant, No. 83 Xu dropped only six games in four matches played before defeating Houghton in the final.

The Cardinal is back in action next weekend, hosting the ITA Northwest Regionals from Oct. 14-18 at Taube Tennis Center.
