Pac-12 Men's Golfer of the Month (September): Michael Thorbjornsen, STANFORD (Jr., Wellesley, Mass.)

• Captured his first collegiate victory at the season-opening Fighting Illini Invitational with a three-round score of 7-under 203 (67-70-66).
• Led the Cardinal to to dominant, 12-stroke win at Olympia Fields Country Club against seven of the nation's top 11 teams.
• Began the final day on Sept. 18 tied for sixth at 3-under, and trailed by six with nine holes to play, but fired a 4-under on the back nine with birdies on Nos. 11, 13, 15 and 18 for the come-from-behind, one-stroke victory.
• Led the field in Par 4 scoring (-4), was tied for sixth in Par 3 scoring (-1) and was 2-under on the Par 5s.
• His 39 pars and 11 birdies over 56 holes were both in the top five.
• First career Pac-12 Golfer of the Month honor.

• Cruised to a dominant five-stroke victory at the Carmel Cup on Sept. 4. 
• Set the Pebble Beach women's course record with a 9-under 63 during the second round.
• Won her fifth career event (in 11 starts) to tie for the fifth most in school history and helped the Cardinal to a 13-stroke win in impressive field.
• Led the way with a three-round, 13-under 203 (68-63-72), the fifth-best 54-hole score in program history and her third best at Stanford.
• Second career Pac-12 Golfer of the Month honor (October 2021).
