SALT LAKE CITY – Basketball season is here, and the Utah women's basketball team opens its season on Thursday, Oct. 27, when they host the fifth annual Future-Scholars Game. Utah will take on Northwest Nazarene University at 11 a.m. MT at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
The exhibition contest is free for all fans to attend. The annual Future Scholars game is an opportunity for Utah's women's basketball team to invite classes from local elementary schools to come experience a home game with a number of schools already signed up. Not only can your class experience the game, but they also get a chance to be on a college campus to help inspire them for their future. If your school would like to make this an entire school event, please contact Samantha Michel at smichel@huntsman.utah.edu.
Our goal is to provide the opportunity for the future-scholars to experience what it's like to be on a University campus, watch some incredible student-athletes, and enjoy a free basketball game! Interactive educational packets are provided to each student in attendance.
Fans, season tickets for the 2022-23 season are now available. Floor seats are priced at $100, while general admission tickets at $25. Call the Utah ticket office at 801-581-UTIX or visit www.UtahTickets.com.
