Pro Bears NFL Week 6 – The Takers Are Takin’

Oct 17, 2022
Camryn Bynum and Jaylinn Hswkins have maintained their reputations as "takers" in the NFL.

Camryn Bynum and Jaylinn Hawkins were part of Cal's defensive backfield known as "The Takers" during their college football careers with the Golden Bears and did the same Sunday in NFL Week 6 action to lift Atlanta and Minnesota to victories.

Bynum recovered a fumble that he returned 15 yards, a pass defense that turned into an interception for teammate Harrison Smith and recovered a late onside kickoff to preserve victory in a 24-16 win at Miami.
Both have started all six games at safety for their respective squads.

Hawkins recovered a fumble in the end zone for the first touchdown of his NFL career and also had an interception in the Falcons' 28-14 home win over San Francisco.

Following is how each of Cal's 29 affiliates on active NFL rosters (17), injured/reserve lists (1), practice squads (4) and coaching staffs (5) fared in Week 6, as well as their 2022 season record, conference and division standings, and upcoming scheduled Week 7 game. More information on each Cal affiliate is available from their web pages on Pro Football Reference (players) and team websites (coaches) by clicking on each name.
