SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah Football standouts Clark Phillips III and Dalton Kincaid were honored today by multiple national sports outlets with the announcement of Midseason All-American teams.
The duo are among the best in the country at both cornerback and tight end, earning their spots on the midseason lists.

This season, Kincaid leads the Utes in receptions (39), receiving yards (558) and receiving touchdowns (6), averaging 14.3 yards per catch. He ranks 13th nationally and third overall in the Pac-12 in receiving scores with his six touchdowns also leading all Power Five tight ends.
The Las Vegas, Nev., native currently leads all FBS tight ends in receiving yards (558) and receiving yards per game (79.7) with his 14.3 yards per catch ranking first among Pac-12 tight ends. Out of his 39 catches, 17 have been for 15 yards or longer (44%) with the senior accounting for 25 of Utah's 89 passing first downs (28%).
Phillips has started all seven games this season for the Utes, recording 16 tackles (1.0 sack), five interceptions (137 yds) and two pass breakups. He is currently tied for first in the FBS in interceptions per game (0.7) and total interceptions (5) with his 137 interception return yards ranking second nationally.
He has two pick-sixes this season, including an 80-yard return at UCLA and his interception turned touchdown against Oregon State, which is tied for the most in the FBS this season.
The sophomore's breakout game this season was against OSU, notching three of his five interceptions, including one being returned for a 38-yard touchdown. His three interceptions against the Beavers ranks as the most by a player in the Power Five this season.
